This project ended up being a surprisingly emotional piece, I really hope to help people look at bugs and other “creepy crawlies” of our world with less ick and disdain and more awe and respect.

The main revision that most people had recommended for this project was replacing all of the footage that I didn’t record. Originally I was overwhelmed at this idea, especially as it was the middle of winter with no bugs in sight. However, as our spring crept in faster and faster I realized this video being revised was becoming possible!

On top of replacing the footage, I personally wanted to redo the narration. The original I recorded using the shotgun mic my camera came with and a blanket draped over my head.to cut back on background noise and echo.
