Carrion Raptor in Window

Pretty much since my compositing class I’ve been itching to do more 3D compositing. I like to describe The Pillar project as video composited onto 3D. Now I wanted to 3D onto video! This was a fun challenge, especially figuring out the 3D camera and getting that all to place right. All audio was recorded by me and added in post. All beastly noises made by yours truly.

I did this process wanting to learn more about the 3D compositing process. Is there any better way to learn about it than to follow the process all the way through! I learned a lot about this process and a lot that I can do in advance to save myself some time and effort too.
