2022 Year End Summary
Well here it is a few days late. I was enjoying time with friends and family and didn’t want to pressure myself to work on this until I had comfortable time too.
It’s definitely something going back through this past year, I didn’t upload a whole lot (if you disclude comic stuff), and well it was a roller coaster of a year for me. Don’t entirely know why but my headspace sure did get fuckey a lot as well as busy with school work and spending time with my friend <3
This was also the year of relearning Blender and going hog wild making avatars in it!
You may also notice that I some of the things in the list were uploaded way later than the month I’m listing them for, I am going by month of completion rather than upload date! Mostly just with RA related things as I finished page production early February.
January
When That Obelisk Hits Differently
I think of the non comic page things I drew this month, this was like 1 of 2 things total and this easily tops all of it, ITS WAY BETTER THAN IT SHOULD BE FOR A SHIT POST DRAWING THAT CAME OUT OF A DRAWPILE SESSION WITH THE OTHER GOBLINS. This wasn’t uploaded on deviant art until April because I didn’t want to go giving any of you all any ideas about what was gonna happen in the story, but I did upload it in other places early because I just liked it too much 🙂

RoA pg 158
Again, completed in Febuary but didn’t get uploaded until the end of April! Of the final scene, this is my favorite page for many reasons. I listed them in my Year in comics for 2022 but I’ll say it again here. I original drafted/wrote whatever, this scene way pre-pandemic. During this time my dad and I would frequent the movie theaters as a fun little outing together, it was our thing and time I really enjoyed spending with him. And I really wanted to capture that same feeling in this brief scene and I really feel like I got it just how I wanted it too, especially now that I has been several years since we’ve gone and seen a movie together in this setting.

[original has no title] Ragged Beast model
This one is of one of my favorite VRchat avatars I made and it is still one of my hands down favorite in the way it turned out and how fun it is to use in game! I learned a lot in the way I can rig avatars to work a little more like puppets and its just a cool freaking model that animates surprisingly well despite it’s weird ass anatomy!
April
Storm
I think for April I only had this and that April fools cover I made and i decided to go with this one as it resonated a lot more with me. Its a very pleasing image to look at, calm but with that brewing storm in the distance. The colors are also just very pleasing, I played around a lot more with blue greens this year!

Swift-Harkyn Prize
As far as I can find I only made about 2 things this month, and one of those things I really hate how it turned out. I don’t really know what happened that month. But none the less this drawing is quite nice and I’m really pleased with the twisty noodle pose 🙂

Mars Design Collab with Frat-Rat
[Image had to be swapped out] So this was gonna be June’s piece hands down without a doubt haha! This turned out to be such a cool project, it was so much fun trying to work in a different style as well as it just turned out so nice!!

Digimon Mass attack compliation
Ok so it was either this one or the worm on the string avatar! Both were quite achievements that I am very proud of. But I went with this one just purely because of just the scale of it. 50 characters!!! in one drawing!!! tbf I spaced it out into 4 separate squares and made it over several days making sure to not over due it. Had so much fun with it <3

Armz Animated
I think this was the only thing I uploaded in August, alas i don’t have a full image up of it, really wish I did because I did custom work on making the mouth lip-sink all cool with hands acting as the lips and such but I encountered a lot of issues when turning the model into a VRchat avatar and kinda gave up on it, still, I learned a lot with it!

Couple of edge wolfs
Again, i think this was the only thing I uploaded this month but none the less I am quite proud of still. It was so much fun to draw and just be edgy hehe.

Only like 3 things drawn for October and I preferred this one way more haha. It’s was really fun to make and just the general vibes hehe.

It was this or that giant monster painting and I ultimately went with this one because it was just so fun haha! a lot of just fun and all the little details I included hehe

PinkCat X-mass gift
Just really fucking love this piece, its so pretty and it was so much fun to make. All the colors are so pleasing and really shows that I’ve been playing around a lot more with blues and greens <3 Just such a pleasing piece!!
Guess heres were I say onward to 2023, we’ll see where this takes us haha, supposed to be the year I wrap up my degree but I’m probably going to pursue additional classes!
